Clam Chowder


  • 4 Cups cubed potatoes
  • 2 Cups diced celery
  • 1 Cup onion
  • 2 cans minced clams
  • 2 cubes margarine
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 pint half & half
  • 1 pint milk

Cover vegetables with water, & simmer until tender. Add clams, including juice. While simmering make a sauce by melting the margarine, then add flour. Add milk & cream stir over medium heat until thickened. Add to vegetables & water. Blend - salt & pepper to taste. Simmer to thicken.
