- 2 Cups sugar
- 1/2 Cup margarine (or shortening)
- 1/2 Cup milk
- 3 T. Cocoa
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 Cups rolled oats
- 1/2 cup coconut
- 1/2 cup nuts (optional)
Boil sugar, margarine, milk & cocoa for 1 min. Remove from heat & add vanilla. Pour over oats & coconut. Spoon onto waxed paper & let cool.
