Poppy Seed Bread

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1-1/2 tsp salt
  • 1-1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 3 eggs
  • 1-1/8 cup oil
  • 2-1/2 cups sugar
  • 1-1/2 cup milk
  • 2-4 tsp poppy seeds
  • 1-1/2 tsp. Vanilla
  • 1-1/2 tsp almond extract

Mix all dry, mix all other. Combine & bake in greased & floured pans. Bake at 350 for 55 min. Cool & top with glaze

Glaze:

1/4 cup lemon juice

3/4 cup sugar

1/2 tsp butter flavoring

1/2 tsp vanilla

1/2 tsp almond extract
