Turtle Cake

  • 1 pkg. German Chocolate cake mix
  • 14 oz. Kraft caramels
  • 1 can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 C margarine
  • 12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
  • 1 ½ C chopped walnuts
  • 2-3 T. powdered sugar

Mix cake according to box instruction. Pour ½ mix into a 9x13 pan & bake 15 min at 350. Melt caramels, canned milk, & margarine (stirring constantly) until caramels are completely melted. Pour over baked portion of cake. Add chocolate chips & nuts. Top with rest of cake batter & bake all together 30 min longer. Cool & dust with powdered sugar
