Carb Lovers Breakfasts

My two favorites are Banana Shake and Banana and Almond Butter Toast:

Banana Shake
1 banana
1 1/2 cups 1% low-fat milk
2 teaspoons honey
1/2 cup ice
Place all ingredients in a blender; process until smooth.

Variations:
Banana Shake Plus: add 2 teaspoons ground flaxseed.
Banana-Cocoa Shake: add 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa
Banana-Berry Shake: add 1/4 cup berries
(I haven't tried any of the variations, but I bet they're yummy!)

Banana & Almond Butter Toast
1 tablespoon almond butter (I get it fresh by the pound from Smiths)
1 slice rye bread, toasted (I have just used wheat)
1 banana, sliced

I bet you can figure out the rest...Spread almond butter on toast, top with banana slices.
