In a large mixing bowl:
1 cup margarine (2 cubes)
4 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
Mix while combining the next ingredients
1 & 1/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp soda
1 & 1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp almond flavoring
Add to flour mixture, it will be sticky, let cool in the fridge overnight or until firm. Roll dough out on floured counter (roll fairly fat) cut and bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes or until you can't hear anymore steam being released from dough, they should not be golden
Frosting:
1/2 cube margarine
1/4 cup milk
2 cups pwd sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/3 tsp almond
Mix enough powdered sugar to make a perfect consistency

This is a recipe I got from Teri White that I changed a little. (gotta have almond) I rolled them at least 1/4" thick. Check the cookies at 8 minutes then decide if you go for 10.
