1-1/2 pounds hamburger
3 - 4 T. Minced dried onion
2 carrots, chopped small
2 celery, chopped small
2 cans (14 oz) diced tomatoes
1 can or jar Pasta sauce
1 can red kidney beans
1 can white kidney beans (I couldn't find these so I used Great Northern White Beans)
2 Cans Beef Broth
1/2 tsp Tobasco (optional)
1-1/2 tsp oregano
1 tsp pepper
1-1/2 T. parsley
6 oz. small pasta
Brown the hamburger (keep it kind of chunky), drain grease and put in crockpot. Add all other ingredients except pasta. Cook on low while you are at work. Add the pasta 30 minutes prior to serving. Top with grated cheese of your choice. (I say parmesan, Dad says Gouda)
Note: I browned the hamburger and chopped the carrots and celery the night before. Then I just threw it all together before I went to work.
