Chocolate Frosting


  • 1/2 Cube butter
  • 6 T. milk
  • 2-3 T. cocoa
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • Powdered Sugar

Bring to boil the milk and butter. Remove from heat, sift in cocoa and vanilla and enough powdered sugar to spreading consistency.

  1. Here are some suggestions concerning this frosting. This recipe generously frosts a 9x13 cake. When frosting a sheet cake I times it by 1-1/2. Also, you don't need to sift the powdered sugar into the mixture. Sift the cocoa to avoid chunks of it in the frosting. The sugar can just be dumped in!
