Ice Cream Pie

For a delicious dessert...
2 lbs Oreos, crushed
1/2 C butter, melted
1.5 qt ice cream, thawed {I chose cookies & cream}
2 C cool whip, thawed
2 C hot fudge
{candy canes if using peppermint ice cream}
Crush oreos in food processor {saving two to break for top of dessert}. Mix oreos with 1/2 C of butter melted. Press into 9" spring form pan
While doing this let ice cream soften
Mix ice cream and whipped cream well. Add to pan and spread evenly over crust
FREEZE FOR 3 HOURS OR UNTIL FIRM
Next pour 2 Cups of Hot fudge sauce over top of frozen ice cream {warm the hot fudge slightly to making spreading easier, and cover entire top of dessert}
Sprinkle crushed oreos {or crushed candy canes} over top of dessert

FREEZE FOR AT LEAST 8 HOURS

Remove the cake from freezer when ready to serve. If using the spring form pan remove sides and serve!
